Week of February 22nd ~ 26th

**The Next French Table Lunch will be held on The first Tuesday in March (3/2/11) at noon.  This months lunch seems to be very popular so we absolutely need everyone who is planning to attend to call us at 805.544.FOOD (3663) to make reservations.  Please as always specify that you will be joining the French Table.  We are very excited ad we cannot wait to see all of you!  Below is the menu:

Roast Duck Breast
With Braised Cabbage & Cherry & Pinot Noir Sauce

Warm Caramelized Apple Tart
With Ice Cream & Caramel Creme Anglaise
 
 
**The Wednesday Night Cooking Classes for March have sold out!  However due to the high demand Chef Jose Dahan has decided to extend the classes to the first 4 Thursdays in March and there are still some spots available!!!  $250 per person  Call to reserve your spot! 805.544.FOOD (3663)

 
With a start time of 5:30 SHARP!
It is designed to make you feel more confident in your own kitchen by learning step by step in a professional kitchen.
You will learn:
Knife techniques
How to get organized
How to make soups, stocks, bread, sauces
How to blanch, poach, grill, roast, filet fish, bone chicken, bone leg of lamb
How to make dessert
We will be keeping wine consumption to a minimum due to knife handling.
Please no outside wine.
Wine by the glass will be available. 
Bring your own apron & your favorite knife if you have one
